During their interview segment on the Late Show Friday night, David Letterman said to Jay-Z, “Tell us about your friendship, your relationship with Eminem. Where did it begin and how’s it going and what does he think of me?” Hova’s response: “I just passed him in the hallway—he said, ‘This guy’s an a**hole!’” Ah, but it was all good. Jay was just ribbing Dave. (We think.) Their one-on-one was a bit disjointed as Jay seemed to be—well, let’s just say “doing his own thing.” But Billboard cover guy Em and his Blueprint pal still rocked out top notch performances. Catch Eminem and Jay-Z’s Late Show appearances after the jump.

Head below to see how our readers reacted (and boy did they ever).

These days it seems everything’s coming up Fantasia. She’s just earned an honorary high school diploma, got the green light on season 2 of her VH1 reality show Fantasia For Real, and she recently won our “Best Idol Winning Moment” list. And the release of her third solo studio album, Back To Me, seems to be just the icing on the cake—a purple cake that is. Fantasia’s album art is a full-on purple fantasy. From her dress, to her jewelry, from her make up to the backdrop; it looks like it should be the color scheme to Prince’s Minnesota home.
