Avenged Sevenfold Drummer Dies Aged 28

Avenged Sevenfold drummer James Owen Sullivan, aka ‘The Rev’ has died at the age of just 28. He was found dead on Monday.

James was found to be ‘unresponsive’ when police arrived at his home. No cause of death has been determined as of yet.

A statement on the band’s website said: “It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy (The Rev) Sullivan,” and goes on to say “Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother.”

Much loved by rock and metal fans the world over, Avenged Sevenfold captured a moment with their blend of rock, metal, punk and goth whicch has seen their name rise over the past few years.

Sullivan was one of the founding members of the band, and will be sorely missed by music fans everywhere. Fans of Avenged Sevenfold are shocked and stunned by the news of the drummer’s death, and an outpouring of grief has been felt online.
